Do you want to donate to the largest (and most fun) fundraiser, Montage, but are not sure what to do?

We have come up with a few basket ideas and would greatly appreciate your help in making these items available for auction at Montage on February 11. If you would like to help us out, please sign up for the basket you’d like to create by going to the following link: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E0A4AA9AD2E5-montage . You can do it yourself or get a group of friends to go in together on a basket. Please keep in mind that each idea is only limited by your creativity so feel free to make each basket what you want it to be. These do not need to be packaged in a typical basket, please use whatever container fits best with the theme. Also, there is no need to wrap in cellophane.

Once your basket is created, please send a note to Tiffany Giganti (tiffany.giganti.hu1q@statefarm.com) and indicate the following: who participated in the creation of the basket, all items that are included in the basket, the estimated value of the basket, and the business contact information (business name, address, phone #, and contact name) if any businesses have donated items to you.

Please bring your donation to Metcalf’s main office by Friday, January 27.

Hurry hurry! The early bird ticket sales for Montage ends this Friday, January 20th. Ticket sales will still be open through Jan 31st.

Also of note several of the pages have been updated with current information….check out the Sneak Peek page. Lots of good items up for bid, including my favorites (Lasik and Disney World park passes).

Finally, you may want to start searching eBay or that old closet for 1980′s themed clothes.

Thank you for supporting Montage. If you are new to Metcalf you are probably wondering…”what is Montage?” Well Montage is Metcalf PTO’s premier fundraiser that is held bi-annually. But, it is more than a fundraiser…it is a night to socialize with fellow parents, teachers, and staff to really get to know Metcalf.

During the past 153 years (wow!), Metcalf has been instrumental in helping enhance the quality of education in our community by providing “a model school in which excellence in educational theory and practice can be observed, studied, and experienced by teacher education candidates.”

This blog (supplemented with Facebook) will be our primary means of communicating with volunteers and everyone interested in attending Montage 2012. We are currently in the planning stages of this wonderful event so stay tuned to the development of this site and details of the event. Finally, we are always looking for volunteers…if you want to learn more about the various opportunities still unfilled please email us at MetcalfMontage@gmail.com. We’d love to hear from you!
